Specifics:

"Fulfilling Our Dreams" Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to Salvadoran, Central American, and Latino high school and college students. Scholarships are awarded annually. Twelve scholarships will be awarded to Central American students pursuing health related degrees and/or careers in California. Applicants must demonstrate financial need; minimum GPA of 2.5; history of community involvement; graduating high school student accepted to a four-year accredited university, current undergraduate, graduate and doctorate students, transferring students or undocumented students attending a community college; and willing to give back to the community by becoming a mentor to a high school student or by serving 80 community service hours. This scholarship is a one-time award. Send all the required documents with your completed application postmarked no later than June 30, 2004. Applications postmarked after the deadline will not be accepted, incomplete applications will not be processed. Applicants must be available for interviews during September 2004. Finalists will be notified of date, time and place of final interviews via mail and/or telephone.
