CLA-Scholarship for Minority Students

This association offers the CLA Scholarship for Minority Students in memory of Edna Yelland. Applicant must be enrolled or accepted in master's program in an ALA-accredited master's of libary and information science program, be a member of one of the following groups- Native American, Black, Filipino, Mexican American, Latino Hispanic, Asian-American or Pacific Islander, be a U.S. citizen (or permament U.S. resident)and permament California resident, provide evidence of financial need and be interviewed by the scholarship committee. There are three scholarships of $2,500 each awarded annually.
