Specifics

Youth on Course provides youth with links to a better future. Using golf as a catalyst, Youth on Course teaches important life lessons including goal setting, self discipline, the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the impact of hard work and dedication. Youth on Course scholarships range from $4,000 to $10,000.

All applicants, who must be active Youth on Course members, are required to submit an application, college budget, resume, and personal statement, along with two reference letters from community service or academic professionals. There is a minimum requirement of a 2.5 GPA and students must maintain full-time academic status.

You must be a high school senior, enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited Northern California high school with a minimum GPA of 3.0. • Scholarships are both need and merit based.

• You must have been accepted for enrollment at a four-year college/university the same year the scholarship is awarded. If the applicant is awaiting application results, the official acceptance letter may be submitted at a later date.

• You do not need to be a member of Youth on Course, but Youth on Course members and/or golfers will be given first priority during selection. You can join today at youthoncourse.org/join
