A college student on staff with the East Bay Consortium is paired with a teacher to serve as a tutor during class time. This provides an opportunity for the teacher to have extra support for the students and for the college students to gain experience in the classroom. In-class tutoring fosters the opportunity for staff to work repeatedly with students thus having greater impact on the student’s achievement.
