AICPA offers various scholarships for students at various points in their academic career. The AICPA/Accountemps Students scholarship is for accounting majors who plan to become CPAs. Eligible students must be full-time at undergraduate or graduate level, must have completed at least 30 hours of college coursework, with at least 6 hours in accounting, and have a GPA of 3.0. Reward amount is $2,500/year. The AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students provides awards to outstanding undergradutate and graduate minority students who plan to pursue the CPA licensure. Eligible applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students, must be part of an underrepresented minority in the accounting profession, must have completed 30 semester hours in college coursework with 6 in accounting, and have a GPA of 3.0. Reward amount is $5,000/year. The AICAP Foundation Two-Year Transfer scholarships provides financial assistance to students who have earned an associate's degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics with a declared intent to major in accounting at a four-year collge or university. Reward amount is $1,000/year. There are additional eligibility requirements for each scholarship.
