The California Adolescent Nutrition and Fitness (CANFit) Program is offering graduate and undergraduate scholarships to assist students who are considering careers in nutrition, physical education, and culinary arts. Scholarships are available for African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander, or Latino students demonstrating financial need. Undergraduate applicants should be enrolled in an approved bachelors or professional certificate program in Culinary Arts, Nutrition, or Physical Education at an accredited college or university in California and have completed the equivalent of 50 semester college units. Graduate applicants must be enrolled in an approved master level or doctoral graduate program in Nutrition, Public Health, or Physcial Education, or American Dietic Assocation. Culinary arts applicants must be enrolled at a culinary arts college in California.
